This week at a glance (February 23-28, 2015)

     This week we will wrap up our study of Unit 9 and review for the exam of Tuesday morning. Wednesday will be our Unit 9 Exam over measurement. We will begin our last unit of study over algebraic relationships in Unit 8 starting on Thursday through the rest of the week and we will continue our study through next week and wrap up the week after we come back from spring break and prepare for STAAR REVIEW and boot camp.

We will continue to read out of Time Riders and will read Chapters 26-33 this week. We will also begin our Unit 10 study of Plate Tectonics with some notes on Wednesday and Friday. Our Storming the Castle activity will have to wait until next week, so I can talk to Mr. Tirado about a day that will be good for both classes to go out at the end of the day.

Tomorrow's Field Trip (12/17/14)

     Tomorrow, we will be going on our field trip to see The Hobbitt.  We will be leaving right after lunch, and we will return when school lets out. Remember to bring $10.00 for the movie. It will be a lot of fun!!
